Mrs Anna Brunton
MA, BMus, LRAM, LGSM, ATCL
Mrs Anna Brunton teaches recorder, oboe, and bassoon at NCS. She studied music at the University of Birmingham, which included studying piano and oboe at the Birmingham Conservatoire. She then taught for several years as a class music specialist at primary, middle and secondary level. She has previously taught oboe at the School of St Helen and St Katherine, Abingdon, and at St Edward's School, Oxford, and has coached the double-reed section of one of the Oxfordshire County Youth Orchestras. She has played oboe for several Oxford orchestras and choral societies, including the Oxford Sinfonia and the Oxford Chamber Orchestra.
In addition, Anna has been a music examiner for Trinity College London since 2006, examining in Singapore, Spain, Crete, Cyprus, India and Malaysia; and all over the UK, from Glasgow to Truro, to Cambridge, and all points in between.
