Elizabeth Watson
After studying music at the University of York, Elizabeth went on to further her knowledge of the voice by undertaking postgraduate studies in speech and language therapy at City University, London. Following her true passion for teaching, Elizabeth then taught in schools along the south coast of England for seven years, as well as building up a thriving private practice, before moving to Edinburgh in 2014, where she established a full-time teaching practice at Fettes College.
Constantly seeking to expand her understanding of the voice, Elizabeth recently completed a Master’s in vocal pedagogy through the University of Wales Trinity St. David. Her key research interests centre on vocal health and rehabilitation and supporting young singers through adolescent voice change. She is passionate about teaching a range of musical styles and enjoys coaching students of all ages and abilities from beginner to diploma level.
