Over the course of that time, the boys racked up several thousand miles as they sang concerts in Westport (Conn.), Nashville, Knoxvile, Dallas, San Francisco, Santa Barbara and St Louis. They also sang a couple of services and even sang for their lunch at the Racquet Club Laduie in St Louis. It wasn’t all hard work, though, and there was plenty of downtime to enjoy the cities the choristers were visiting. Particular highlights included playing on the beach in Santa Barbara, before visiting the excellent Moxi Museum of Technology and Innovation and the Sealife Education Centre there, as well as the zoo in St Louis and a nature sanctuary in Westport. Back to the music: the concerts were very well received, with standing ovations pretty much every night. All in all, the tour was a tremendous achievement in terms of musical quality and stamina.
