Year 8 enjoyed watching the Royal Shakespeare Company's version of Hamlet from the comfort of their own classroom
The morning after our second performance of The Tempest, Years 8 and 8S sat down to watch a Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) live streaming of Hamlet. When Hamlet finds his father dead, he is filled with grief and when he meets his father’s ghost he finds out that his uncle murdered his father. The ghost tells him to avenge his death. Hamlet puts on madness so that he can keep a closer eye on his uncle and the many events that occur afterwards prove his uncle’s guilt. The play had us transfixed with its amazing actors and plot and it was a great experience for all. PL
