Just a few weeks into the new school term, the choristers of New College Choir briefly downed their pens to head across to France for the Via Aeterna Festival. Singing in Avranches under the baton of Mr Paul Brough, the boys excelled themselves in a programme ranging from Tallis and Byrd to Ruth Byrchmore and Rhian Samuel. The audience demanded two encores, so the boys have clearly started off the new year in excellent form.
