To coincide with their lessons on Space Physics in Science, Year 5 were delighted to receive a visit from Ruth and Charlie from the Department of Earth Sciences at the University of Oxford. The boys enjoyed an interactive session, learning about the way that the Earth is formed from layers, and how other planets might differ from our own. The activity where the boys had to use the concepts they had learnt, to construct a model of their own planet was especially enjoyable.
