After removing our shoes, we were shown how Muslims clean themselves in preparation for prayer. We were then led to the first prayer room where the Imam showed us how Muslims pray and the timings of the prayers for that day. Finally, we travelled to the Friday prayer room. Friday is the special holy day for Muslims so the room befitted this and all were in awe of the beautiful space. The boys asked very respectful and interesting questions which showed how much knowledge they had on the topic so far, whilst also exhibiting their curiosity.
