Dr Blagden works in the Department of Oncology at the University of Oxford. She gave the boys a fascinating insight into the way cancer cells work and new research that is being done to destroy these cells. It was a fantastic extension to their curriculum based topic on cell biology and gave them a real insight into cutting edge research that is being carried out right on their doorstep.
