We boarded the coach laden with lunches and headed for the Earth Trust Centre at Wittenham Clumps. A brisk walk, a run down the side of the Clumps, den building, fire- lighting and marshmallow-melting all made for a busy day. Teamwork during the den building is always a worthwhile challenge and many lessons were learnt from it. The weather was kind, new friendships were made, and it was a great day out.
