In November, forty brave young mathematicians ranging from Years 4 to 6 volunteered to tackle the Primary Mathematics Challenge.

This year in DTE, a Year 8 team, consisting of Didrik, Max B, Max J, Rishaan, George and Benji, made the Goblin Greenpower electric go-kart. It was fun at times, challenging at others, but overall it taught us about engineering.
It was wonderful to be able to revive our Year 8 leavers’ trip to Sicily this year – the first time since Covid restrictions kept us much closer to home.
During Activities Week Year 7 travelled to North Yorkshire for the first time, for a week of outdoor activities.
Sleepy but excited, the Year 6 boys met at school at 4.50am on Monday 26 June ready for their residential trip to Normandy.
After a leisurely drive down to Portsmouth, Year 5 enjoyed a few hours exploring the historic dockyards.
Year 4 attended the Malvern Hills residential on Monday to Wednesday of activities week.
Year 3 had a great activities week, based around the theme of Pirates.
Six visionary New College boys have prepared entries for ‘The Young Geographer of the Year’ competition run by The Royal Geographical Society.
